You’ll see within this website various testimonials from our customers and also our tutors which in the main have simply been taken straight off the satisfaction surveys that we send out to everyone on a very regular basis.
Tutor Doctor is a local company, but we benefit from being part of a much bigger operation meaning that certain tools, systems and processes can be shared with other offices in the UK and around the world. Rob Kerrison, who owns and leads the business in Cambridge is also involved with some of the broader marketing initiatives for the Tutor Doctor brand as a whole and below was the output of a study completed to identify the Tutor Doctor difference and also to set a framework for our Cambridge business and all the Tutor Doctor offices to follow. This ensures we can deliver the promises we make to our families and tutors. Hope you like it.
Learning Centres are less of a thing over here in the UK and there are a number of options in Cambridge in terms of Learning Centres and they can work out really well for the students. We do work with lots of children who have attended Learning Centres, but it seems to us that fairly quickly the students seek a more tailored approach, with more expert and better matched tutors delivering the coaching in an environment that is most conducive to their learning: in-home. A lot of the parents we speak to find that their children quickly outgrow the Learning Centre option and use us as a more tailored solution but with the reassurances that an established organisation like ours can offer. It also means a lot less ferrying around of children after school or at weekends.
The other option on the table above is the independent tutor and there are lots of those in Cambridge of course and there are some fantastic ones out there too. We are enormously active in recruiting the best tutors. We are very careful and rigorous in how we go about the application process. Once the tutors are on our books we then continue to track performance of all of our tutors to ensure that before we match them with a family we are confident that they know their material, but they also are reliable and have the right energy and people skills that we look for in working 1:1. Matching the right tutor to the family, having completed the consultation is a really vital part of the process and greatly increses the likelihood of a successful outcome. This is what we do.
So again, our four key values: local, friendly, professional, flexible are what we really believe sets us apart and has been at the heart of our success since 2010. Please give us a call to find out more about how we work and how we can help.
